Your monthly giving empowers our programs to do more!
FREE FOOD PROGRAM
Weekly distribution of free groceries around Greater Waterbury to individuals and families (with children) in need, and monthly outreach events distribute free pantry bags to local households, especially those with senior citizens experiencing adverse health ailments, disabilities, and financial hardship.
AFFORDABLE EDUCATION
CITY MISSION SCHOOLS is our Affordable Education Program designed to impact the Greater Waterbury Area through alternative learning curriculums, smaller student-to-teacher ratios, increased collaboration with parents, and greatly reduced tuition costs. Currently providing Grades K - 8.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
Our Community Development Program provides training to help residents learn important skill sets that will improve their quality of living. We provide classes and workshops, as well as a weekly Chapel service called ‘GATHER,’ which help participants to receive much needed guidance and encouragement!
GENERAL OPERATIONS
Our General Operations is the engine that all our programs depend on to do what they do best. Whether it is transportation, logistics, volunteer recruitment, finance, administration, fundraising, or organizational sustainability - our operations set the tone for our current and future Mission success!
THE CITY MISSION is a registered 501(c)(3) with the Internal Revenue Service and is a registered Public Charity in Connecticut.
All donations are tax-deductible and used to support CITY MISSION and its programs in the Greater Waterbury Region.
