WHO WE ARE

CITY MISSION is made up of families and individuals who care deeply about their community. We are fundraisers, educators, small business owners, mental health counselors, healthcare professionals, non-profit workers, and church leaders looking to put our passion and expertise into bettering Waterbury, Connecticut. Most importantly, we believe that God loves every person (John 3:16) no matter their age, gender, religion, ethnicity, or socio-economic group. So to us, it’s not just about serving our city, it’s also about treating people the way Jesus would.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT

Although we are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that is not a religious organization, we consider our work to be God’s work for God’s people. We are not a traditional church, but we have the DNA of a Body of Believers at the core of everything we do. The foundations of our programs are based on ‘being’ the Gospel. Our main focus is bringing God’s love out into Waterbury, serving its people, and providing a welcoming platform for anyone to get involved.
